The contemplation of the natural environment captured in intimate moments of a place or time. Drawing inspiration from local landscapes, “Contemplation’ catalogues visual experiences, memories and moments of the interconnectedness of nature, space and time.
This body of work continues the exploration of light and colour and abstraction of the figurative. These artworks are created through a bespoke compositional process of layering oil paint and cold wax medium. Curated to invoke meditation on patterns, beauty and nature.
